Are the dunes open?
Yes. State Park Dune access is now open including South Jetty State Park. You can find more information on the Oregon State Parks website: https://stateparks.oregon.gov/

What Beach Access is open?
Along with North and South Jetty, you can find county beach access at 4535 Lookout St and Heceta Beach County Park at 88494 1st Ave

Is Cape Perpetua Visitor Center open?
Cape Perpetua Visitor Center is temporarily closed.

Is Sea Lion Caves Open?

Is Heceta Lighthouse Open?
While tours of the lighthouse are suspended for the summer, the Heceta Lighthouse Scenic Viewpoint State Park is open. This allows access to the lighthouse tower viewing area, trails, and the beach below the Keepers’ Home that houses the B&B. The volunteer docents of the Interpretive Center at the Keeper’s Home will be outside to talk to visitors about the tower and the Lightstation in general on the weekends 11-3. When staffing and weather permits, this will expand to be daily. The Heceta Lighthouse Gift Shop will be open the duration of the summer. It has snacks, drinks, gifts, clothing, cards, art, and so much more! Hours are 11-5 through June, 10-6 July and August, and 11-5 in September.

Most state parks are open for day use. It is advised to check the website before planning your outing as openings and closures can change daily.

Are Restrooms available in local recreational areas?
Restrooms are open during the day at select State and local Parks. Please check information for each individual park.
What hiking trails are open?
Most county, state and federal trails are open for day use. It is best to check before you go. Openings and Closures change daily.
Are Campgrounds open?

Most private RV Parks and County campgrounds are open. Please contact the campground before traveling.
State campgrounds will be opening with on June 9th. It is recommended that you call if you have made a previous reservation.
