A full on Cabaret show featuring burlesque, dance, drag, live singing, acrobatics and so much more. All with a Halloween twist! Just in time to help you get into the Halloween spirit! Produced through Justin Buckles Productions, based out of Portland, and featuring internationally acclaimed performers who have traveled the world! Justin Buckles was born and raised in Coos Bay, Oregon and now produces shows in 20 states as well as Canada. His previous works include American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance, Gene Simmons Family Jewels, and various shows for MTV, VH1, and more. Soroptimist’s “Bras for a Cause” Fundraiser

It's time for the 3rd Annual "Bras for a Cause," October 20, 2018 from 6-9 p.m. presented by the Florence Chapter of Soroptimist International.  Ask anyone who attended last year's gala and they will tell you it's not to be missed.  Several unique and imaginative bras have been specially designed and decorated by local area groups and donated for the cause.  The bras will be displayed and sold during a lively auction as the highlight of the evening.  There will be a DJ to host the event which also includes a silent auction, dessert auction and entertainment. Table sponsorships start at $600 and include the opportunity to design/create a bra, advertising, and dinner with wine.  Individual tickets are still available for $50 per person and can be purchased prior to the event or at the door beginning at 6:00 p.m. Saturday evening. Bras For A Cause is a fundraiser for scholarships and other Soroptimist Club activities such as the Live Your Dream Awards, Human Trafficking Awareness…

Last Resort Players is pleased to present “Grey Gardens, The Musical” based on the documentary from the 1970’s which follows the precipitous decline of the wealthy and well connected Bouviers, an aunt and first cousin of Jackie Kennedy Onassis.  From their hey-day in their Long Island 28 room mansion in the 30’s to the squalor of a ruin overturn with 50 cats, “Grey Gardens, The Musical" deals with a darkly comic mother and daughter duo who develop a psychological dependency which allows them no escape. Grey Gardens was a long-time dream of Leah Goodwin, who passed away in late July.  Her vision is being brought forth on the flat floor with the orchestra seated on the platform behind the actors.  It will be directed by Jason Wood with musical direction of Rhianna Haines, and orchestra conductor Chris Lewis.
