It is time to recycle your plastics again Florence! The collection will be for #2 , 4 and 5 tubs, jugs and bottles only. They must be clean, dry and labels removed completely!!! Please have the different plastics sorted and organized by number and type before you arrive.  Thank you for taking the time to do this!  The event will take place on Sunday January 26th from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Florence Methodist Church at 333 Kingwood Street in Florence, OR.

Florence Crab Crack

The 9th Annual Crab Crack fundraiser for Florence Food Share will happen on Saturday, February 1st, from 4-7pm at the Florence Events Center. Tickets will go on sale for the Crab Crack December 10th. You will enjoy Oregon Coast crab along with pasta, coleslaw, garlic bread, sodas, coffee and dessert. A no-host bar will be available. There will also be a silent auction during the event that will include a beautiful selection of items. Ticket price is $45 per person. Advance purchase is required. Only 400 tickets will be sold, so it is suggested that you get your tickets early. There will be no ticket sales at the door. This year 50 “To Go” boxes, which include one whole crab, pasta, coleslaw, garlic bread and dessert, will be pre-sold beginning December 10th and available for pick-up on February 1st from 2-3pm for $25 each.
