The Florence Area Chamber of Commerce is showcasing a new arts experience this November with the opening of Coastal Vibes, a fresh exhibit from Serene Abundance Studio at the Chamber’s Visitors Center and Gallery. The exhibit marks the first anniversary of Serene Abundance Studio’s Historic Old Town location and highlights expressive, visionary works inspired by the natural beauty of Florence, Oregon’s coastal landscape.
Local artist and licensed professional counselor Serena Appel curated the collection to celebrate creativity, personal growth, and the spirit of Oregon’s Coastal Playground. Visitors can view expressive pieces from Oregon artists, including members of the Florence Camera Club, photographic art by Janelle Boatright of Ashland, and coastal-inspired shell creations from 808 Koastal Krafts of Florence. Appel says the exhibit is designed to spark inspiration and reflection while showcasing how art can support healing and community connection.
The Chamber continues its commitment to highlighting Florence’s vibrant arts community through monthly rotating exhibits. Chamber President and CEO Bettina Hannigan shared that these displays elevate local culture and strengthen Florence’s position as a thriving arts destination on the Oregon Coast. Appel added that the Chamber’s gallery space plays a key role in welcoming visitors and sharing the energy, creativity, and heart of Florence’s arts scene.
Serene Abundance Studio also offers a full calendar of classes, workshops, and seasonal creative events, open Thursdays through Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Details are available at SassFlo.com/events.
