2025 Rhododendron Festival: Logo Contest Winner Announced!
The Florence Area Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the winner of the 2025 Rhododendron Festival Logo Contest: Jordan Blumer of McMinnville, Oregon!
Jordan’s beautiful and bold design has been selected as the official logo for the 118th Rhododendron Festival, themed “Rhodies on the River.” She wins $250, bragging rights, and a special place in the festival’s long and storied history.
A Perfectly Captured Theme
The 2025 Rhododendron Festival, running May 15–18, 2025, celebrates Florence’s stunning rhododendron flowers and the natural beauty of the Siuslaw River. Blumer, a professional graphic designer and frequent visitor to Florence, created a logo that highlights the historic art deco Siuslaw River Bridge and the vibrant rhododendrons that thrive in the region.
“I started sketching the bridge and river from photos and wanted to pay homage to the area’s history while adding a ‘flowy’ font to represent the river and the flowers,” Blumer shared.
Bettina Hannigan, Chamber president and CEO, expressed her excitement:
“Jordan’s design perfectly captures this year’s festival theme, ‘Rhodies on the River.’ The bold, beautiful artwork pairs the natural beauty of Florence with the festive ‘rollin’ on the river’ vibe we all love. It was a tough choice among so many incredible submissions, but Jordan’s stood out for its creativity and connection to the community.”
What to Expect at the 2025 Festival
The Rhododendron Festival is Oregon’s second-oldest floral festival, drawing thousands of visitors from across the country. As the unofficial kickoff to the summer season in Florence—Oregon’s Coastal Playground—it offers fun for all ages, including:

- 🎡 Davis Shows Carnival
- 🚶♂️ 5K Rhody Run & Walk
- 🚗 Classic Car Show ‘n’ Shine and Cruise
- 🎭 Grand Floral Parade (Sunday at noon)
- 🎤 *Live music, vendor fairs, rhododendron show, art displays, and more!
