Susy Lacer holds the Grant Professional Certified (GPC) credential and is a member of the international Grant Professionals Association. She is one of only 6 people in Oregon to hold a GPC. Members of the Grant Professionals Association adhere to a Code of Ethics.

Since 2004, Susy has provided grant services to nonprofit, for-profit, and public entities. She will identify funding opportunities, prepare and submit grant proposals and letters of inquiry, provide project research and program planning, assess organizational readiness, and assist with business and sustainability planning.

With over 17 years of experience, Susy has completed and assisted with successful proposals to private and corporate foundations, and local, state and federal funding programs. These awards, totaling over $25 million in grants and low interest loans, have benefited youth groups, community building efforts, municipalities, libraries, economic development agencies, museums, port districts, social services, arts groups, schools, hospitals, and more.

The Grant Professionals Association is committed to serving the greater public good by practicing the highest ethical and professional standards. The Grant Professional Certified credential recognizes proficiency in standards including demonstrated achievement, tenure in the profession, continuing education, and a commitment to service for public and private philanthropy. The credential is offered by the Grant Professionals Certification Institute, Inc., an affiliate of the Grant Professionals Association. Grant consulting fees are payment for professional services rendered, not a commission or payment from grants received.
