By becoming our ReStore Associate, you will join a collaborative, team-based organization.
Work is in a warehouse/retail environment with furniture, household goods, & building/remodeling supplies. You will frequently be required to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, & reach awkward & tiring positions. This role routinely uses office equipment & cash registers. This is a fast-paced environment with a strong customer service focus. A portion of the duties are outside so elements such as dust, dirt & inclement weather will play a role in day to day activities.REQUIREMENTS:
‘ Minimum 1 year Retail experience
‘ Minimum 1 year experience operating a cash register & credit card equipment, including making change accurately
‘ Minimum 1 year experience calculating sales based on quantity or square feet
‘ Minimum 1 year experience basic Microsoft computer skills, including Microsoft mail, Microsoft word & data entry
‘ Drivers License

JOB DUTIES:
‘ Employees must frequently lift, pull, push or load/unload items over 50 pounds, employing proper lifting techniques
‘ Provide friendly & professional customer service; greet customers, answer questions, assist with merchandise, answer phones & assist with loading purchases in vehicles
‘ Assist driver with pickup/delivery service of donated/purchased items
‘ Accept/process donated inventory
‘ Merchandising: maintain sales floor in logical & attractive displays, organize inventory, clean shelves/retail displays, monitor on-line merchandising with updates to social media
‘ Maintain safety standards by identifying & correcting potential safety hazards and providing a clean environment. Look out for the safety of other staff & volunteers
‘ Assist in on-boarding of volunteers: provide training, support & non-managerial leadership to ReStore volunteers, add jobs to daily task list, ensure volunteers sign in & out, ensure a positive & enjoyable volunteer experience
‘ Will be required to drive Restore truck from time to time
‘ Other duties as assigned: meet all long & short-term goals as established by the ReStore Manager, & any other task that may be assigned.

DAYS AND HOURS:
Weds, Thurs, Fri, Sat from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM. 24 hours per week with possibility of increased hours weekly as needed.
