Bay Street in Florence is chock full of some quaint restaurants. One not to be missed along this fun street is The Firehouse Restaurant, decorated with fire fighting memorabilia. Many restaurants claim to have "award winning clam chowder" – however, The Firehouse Restaurant has won awards with their chowder – 2011 Oregon Coast Professional Chowder Cook Off Winner as well as First Runner Up in People's Choice!
