The Ukranian method of Pysanky, or wax-resist egg dyeing, has been around for generations, and is a traditional gift given on special occasions. Perfect for your Easter gatherings! Kassy Keppol, professional children's book illustrator & the brains behind Dragon Art Florence, will demonstrate the step-by-step process of layering wax-resist designs and dyes onto a hollow egg to create a unique and beautiful keepsake. This workshop will be hosted open- house style; drop in anytime between 2pm-5pm to work on your egg project. Make it a family night, or a memorable date night experience! Please plan for up to two hours of working and cleanup time. Suitable for adults, teens, and kids with parental/adult assistance. Experience with drawing, painting or crafting is helpful, but not necessary.

Art can be informative and insightful, with the potential to tap into new awareness of questions and wonderings we may have on our life path. Art making together with others deepens this experience and brings the healing aspect of supportive witnessing to one's experience. Come join us for this fun filled arts workshop as we play with a variety of materials to create a series of several art projects throughout the day, inclusive of mandalas and collage. There will be a break for lunch- brown bag, or on your own. We will weave between community art as we create art pieces with others, as well as time spent on individual art.
