Bloodworks NW is the organization that provides the blood to the Florence Community.  Please help us make sure the local hospital’s shelves are stocked with blood! The Siuslaw Middle School and Bloodworks Northwest are partnering to save lives in the local community by setting up the Siuslaw Middle School Choir Room into a Pop-Up Donor Center. Blood donation remains an essential and encouraged activity as Governors Kate Brown implement new coronavirus restrictions. Blood donors have a critical role in sustaining health care through the holidays and into the new year—there is an urgent need to save lives. Your one-hour donation appointment is a safe action to support local hospitals and patients. Pop-Up Donor Centers are being conducted in accordance with social distancing and CDC COVID-19 safety guidelines.
