We rent single & tandem kayaks by the day on the Siltcoos River & are located 6 miles South of Florence. No previous kayaking experience necessary. We launch you right from our dock and send you off to do this beautiful class 1 paddle thru a temperate rain forest, thru the world famous sand dunes, go over a small (but exciting) dam portage and end up at the beach. Spend some time playing on the beach have a picnic and then paddle back. A small dam on the river makes it such an easy paddle as there is NO current! Open daily from 10am to dark.
