Chances are, if you grew up in Oregon, or even in the western US, that some of your favorite Spring Break memories are full of images from the Oregon Coast.
Sandcastles, kite flying, wave jumping, beach fires, s’mores.
Come revive those memories and create new ones this year in Florence!
Wine tasting, art galleries, romantic beach walks, eclectic Northwest fusion cuisine based on the fresh catch of the day…or maybe you still enjoy sandcastles, kite flying, wave jumping, beach fires, and s’mores.
We’re not here to judge. Instead, we’re here to empower those dreams!
Here at the Florence Area Chamber of Commerce we love helping vacation planners like you to find and enjoy all the fun Florence has to offer. Maybe it’s a family adventure on ATVs, sandboards, or on foot through the majestic sand dunes. Maybe it’s a couple of rounds of world class golf at either of our local courses. Casino gaming? Fishing? Crabbing? Hiking in ancient forests to gorgeous waterfalls? We’ve got all that too.
And big-name entertainment? Yes! Two current examples are the incomparable Mandy Harvey (from NBC’s The Voice) this Wednesday at the Florence Events Center, and country music favorites Sawyer Brown on March 23 at Three Rivers Casino Resort.
And Whale Watching Week is March 26 to 31! We’ll help you find the official Oregon State Parks “Whale Watching Spoken Here” locations—three of which are within 10 to 20 scenic miles of Florence!
And as long as you’re making plans, plan to be here May 18-20 for the 111th annual Florence Rhododendron Festival. This year’s theme? “Rhody Rendezvous!” Plan to rendezvous with friends and family around the many activities—spectacular flower shows, parades, the carnival, classic cars, motorcycles, arts and crafts exhibits, clam chowder, and other festivities!
