Sea Lion Caves

Elevan miles north of Florence, Basalt Rock began forming 25 million years ago and created the largest sea cave in the world. Sea Lion Caves was discovered in 1880 by William Cox. An elevator was put in place probably because the cave measures to the height of a 12-story building. More Info
